Peter’s home is full of charm. Located in the Dee Valley in North Wales, his rural property has bags of character and features a lovely single-storey farmhouse-style extension at the rear.
Last year, he completely renovated this space, modernising several aspects of it. As part of the work, he also wanted to replace his existing UPVC door that didn’t quite match the newly decorated interior or the extension’s exterior.
He wanted a door that matched the look and style of his countryside home, so a Forté stable door was the perfect fit!

Peter went for the Layton Stable, which features subtle linear etching on the panel, akin to those found on traditional timber doors of old. For the colour, he picked the popular Olive Grey option that perfectly balances contemporary greys and timeless muted greens.
To complete the design, he chose a clear glass option and graphite hardware to contrast with the Olive Grey door. A timeless and classic combination that’ll be in situ for years to come!
